Kyle's Story
I currently own and operate a boys group home in which 10 boys reside{Richmeier Therapeutic Home}. I have been doing this type of work for 14 years now. Backing up, after high school I graduated with a B.A. from Southwestern Assemblies of God College in Waxahachie,TX and then moved to Sringfield,MO where I graduated with a M.A. from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. During college I married the girl I dated my senior year of high school, Laura Baker, on Dec. 15,1984. We were able to spend the summer of 1986 on a short term missions trip to Germany before moving to Missouri. After seminary I continued to live in Springfield for a number of years and headed up a college campus ministery. In Jan,1995 I moved to Boys

{Father Flanagan's Boys Home} where my wife and I lived in a group home with girls as house parents. We received excellent training in working with high needs kids at Boys Town. In Jan,1998 we moved to Toledo,Ohio to open a group home and have lived here since. Our son was born Dec,1999 after fifteen years of marriage and is currently nine years old. I miss the old days and would like to reconnect with my roots. It is sometimes lonely up here as it doesn't always feel like home. However, going up to snowmobile in the upper penisula of Michigan is an easy option for me here(a benefit to living up north)! Hope all of you are doing well and it looks like I might have to join face book to reconnect with more of you from T.S.C.A.
